Canon EOS 300 SLR & Sigma 28 - 80mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens

£28.99

Canon EOS 300 SLR & Sigma 28 - 80mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens

All cameras are film tested, and any issues found are described below. Any photos you see in the listing are taken with this particular camera.

Lens: Sigma 28 - 80mm f/3.5-5.6 EF Lens

Film speed settings: 25-5000 ISO DX, 6-6400 Manual

Film Format: 35mm

Lens Mount: Canon EF

Shutter: B/30 to 1/2000 sec

Aperture: f/3.5 to f/22

Focusing: Auto – TTL-SIR

Light Meter: Battery Powered

Battery: CR123 x 2

Flash: Hot Shoe & inbuilt

Year: 1999 - Onwards

Country: Japan

The good:

·         For a 25-year-old camera, it is in remarkably good condition.

·         Shutter fires well, and tested exposures reveal no timing issues.

·         Focus is smooth and accurate.

·         Film transport is smooth and solid.

·         Aperture blades move freely.

·         Flash works as expected.

·         Light meter reacts to light well and tends to expose well for the shadows.

The less good:

·         The viewfinder has some minor debris. This does not affect image quality, nor usability.

·         The lens itself has a few specs of dust, but nothing that is noticeable in the final images (see attached sample photos)

·         As is standard for these cameras, the rubber is a little tacky.

·         General wear and tear.
