The Olympus IS-2000 is an interesting camera. Technically an SLR, but more equivalent to a modern-day bridge camera. Amazing optics, and fully featured, it is a joy to use.

The good:

• For a 30-year-old camera, it is in remarkably good condition.

• Shutter fires well, and tested exposures reveal no timing issues.

• Focus ring is fast and accurate.

• Flash works as expected.

• Full of features.

The less good:

• The viewfinder has some debris at the edges of the frame. This does not affect image quality, nor usability.

• The lens itself has a few specs of dust, but nothing that is noticeable in the final images (see attached sample photos)

• General wear and tear.
