Pentax P30N SLR & Tokina 70-210mm f/4.0 – 5.6 Lens

£36.99

Pentax P30N SLR & Tokina 70-210mm f/4.0 – 5.6 Lens

All cameras are film tested, and any issues found are described below. Any photos you see in the listing are taken with this particular camera.

Lens: Tokina 70-210mm f/4.0 – 5.6 Pentax K Lens

Film speed settings: 25-1600 ISO DX

Film Format: 35mm

Lens Mount: Pentax K

Shutter: B/1to 1/1000 sec

Aperture: f/4.0 to f/32

Focusing: Manual

Light Meter: Battery Powered

Battery: LR44 / SR44 X 2

Flash: Hot Shoe

Year: 1988 - Onwards

Country: Japan

The good:

·         For a 35-year-old camera, it is in remarkably good condition.

·         Shutter fires well, and tested exposures reveal no timing issues.

·         Focus ring is smooth and accurate.

·         Film transport arm is smooth and solid.

·         Aperture blades move freely.

·         Flash hot shoe works as expected.

·         Light meter reacts to light well.

The less good:

·         The film door release needs to be at a specific angle to allow for operation, due to a missing tooth on the latch. Looking from the rear of the camera, it needs to be around 1 o clock position, as per the photos.

·         The viewfinder has a couple of dust spots. This does not affect image quality, nor usability.

·         The lens itself has a few specs of dust, but nothing that is noticeable in the final images (see attached sample photos)

·         General wear and tear.
