Ricoh AF-35 35mm
Lens: Color Rikenon 38mm f/2.8 (4 elements in 3 groups)
Film speed settings: 25-1000 ISO, set manually
Shutter: 1/8 to 1/500 sec
Aperture: f/2.8 to f/16
Film Winding: Automatic
Flash: Built-in
Weight: 330g
Year: 1981 - 1987
The good:
Viewfinder and lens appears clear and good condition
Electronics work well, auto focus is good, flash works, and test shots were exposed appropriately
The ability to manually set film speed is handy, as you can use a wider range of film, and even push or pull.
AA batteries work just fine, so no fumbling around for unusual batteries.
The less good:
After I run a roll of film through it, the little foam light seal around the film viewing window in the back became loose, leading to some light leaks. I've re-seated and re-glued it, which should sort that problem. That being said, I have had that issue with other similar cameras, and tend to put a piece of electrical tape over the window, and just remember which film stock is in which camera.
It's a 40 year old camera, so there's the expected wear and tear on the casing.
